Join us for a full-day seminar on technology for nonprofits, in partnership with Microsoft Channel Partners San Antonio Chapter.

 Whether you are someone who looks at computer wires and sees tangled spaghetti – or can single-handedly set up an entire network without a handbook, this seminar is for you!  Join your nonprofit colleagues for a day filled with technology trainings, resource briefings, and innovative techniques to build (or refine) your organization’s technology systems.  This will be a unique opportunity to learn how to boost efficiencies across your organization and prioritize innovation to springboard your team’s success… and did we mention there will be prizes, including Office 2013, Windows 8.1 and more-worth $$$ thousands of dollars!

The International Association of Microsoft Channel Partners San Antonio Chapter and the San Antonio Area Foundation are able to offer this full day of training for only $75 per person, and organizations that send five or more staff members will receive a 15 percent discount.

Session 1 - Making Sense of Charity IT Options & Licensing: Learn How to Leverage Key Resources to Save Hard-Earned Dollars

In this workshop, Michael Gray of SoftwareOne will walk you through cost effective IT solutions and the latest technology updates with a focus on how to leverage key resources for saving dollars, the benefits and risks involved for cloud computing, and how to protect your data with cyber security. Regardless the size of your nonprofit organization, this workshop is designed to address all of your IT solutions.





Session 2 - Panel Discussion: Benefits and Risks of Cloud Computing – Is it Worth It?









Join Bryan Guinn (Prism Technologies Group), Jason Mata (San Antonio Area Foundation), and Derrick Pizarro (Cox Smith) for a lively overview of Cloud Computing and an argument of pro’s and con’s related to the benefits and risks – from the perspective of customers and providers.  Session moderated by Gary Britton of New Horizons.  Bring your questions for this interactive panel.

Session 3 - Cyber Security 101: Threats and the Tools to Protect your Data
