In Response to COVID-19

We understand that an informed, activated population is vital to protecting the public's health. Although we are separated now, we are in this TOGETHER, San Antonio.

We want to thank our co-partner, the United Way of San Antonio and Bexar County for their collaborative efforts as we answered the call for action during this time of immense need. As of August 1, the Fund has awarded $6.4 million to over 200 nonprofits. Donors continue to make contributions, and awards will continue to be made based on applications already received during the nearly two-month application period.

We encourage nonprofits to monitor the Area Foundation’s website, social media channels, and sign up for the Nonprofit News e-newsletter for additional Area Foundation SAAFdn grant opportunities.

STAY INFORMED: Subscribe to our Newsletter, browse our blog page or follow us on FacebookLinkedIn or Twitter to keep up with all COVID-19 communications.
