Conflict of Interest Statement
The San Antonio Area Foundation continues to be conscious of the possible conflict of interest which may arise as the result of staff, Board members, or Committee members being on the Board of applicant organizations or intimately connected with applicants for grants or scholarships. At the same time, the Foundation recognizes it is inherent in the process of the selection of members of the staff, Board of Directors and Committees that they are and will continue to be active in the community. Likewise, the Foundation does not desire to deprive agencies, although they may be prospective applicants, from the benefits to be derived from the expertise of the members of the staff, Board or Committees.
