Principles of the Richmond Family Foundation

Ratty the Rat Purse

Teammates,

I have wonderful news. Ratty (the Rat Purse from our gift exchange) loves his new home. He’s been out to dinner and a party and is making the rounds all over town. Apparently, John G doesn’t think this is as funny as the rest of us. Oh well, there’s no accounting for taste. Please be thinking about a name for our Core Values Giraffe – there is a $25 gift certificate from Sea Island for the winner! Send your entry to Linda.

I was looking through some material the other day and came across (or more accurately, LS came across) the founding principles of the Richmond Family Foundation. Take a listen:

We should love one another- that means caring for our neighbors…Our foundation is a place

Where those in mourning are comforted

                      Where the hungry are fed

Where the poor hear good news

Our Foundation strives to give energy and help to those angels among us who are actively caring for such neighbors. Those words are both simple and profound.

Have a very Merry Christmas,

Dennis
