Affiliates

The San Antonio Area Foundation Serves South Texas with a local presence through its affiliates which are community foundations.

Affiliates are led by a local board made up of local community leaders and are staffed by executive directors who live in the Affiliates' communities.  The Affiliate makes local grants and directs efforts to develop more grant making resources for an improved quality of life in its community.  The San Antonio Area Foundation Affiliate system brings together the best thinking of local leadership to meet community concerns with the best financial management and administrative/training resources of the San Antonio Area Foundation.
