South Texas Cancer Foundation, established as a Supporting Organizations in 2007, was created to raise public awareness of the disease and to carry out scientific, educational, and charitable programs that increase the health of the residents in the South Texas area through the prevention and detection of cancer. The foundation is dedicated to cancer research and provides free educational seminars and screening services that permit early detection and treatment of cancer.
