San Antonio Area Foundation has several areas of interest to focus the grantmaking process. Upon establishing their funds, donors may specify that a portion of their fund be directed toward particular populations (e.g., children with disabilities) or areas of interest (e.g., historic preservation). Other donors provide unrestricted gifts that may be used as needed.
