SAN ANTONIO AREA FOUNDATION AWARDS
$2.2 MILLION TO AREA NONPROFITS

Grants to help strengthen the capacity of nonprofit agencies researching cancer therapies, enriching schoolroom curriculum with the arts, and increasing nutritional and health-care for low-income and senior citizens are among the 140 programs receiving funding from the San Antonio Area Foundation in 2008. A leader in community philanthropy for over 44 years, the Area Foundation proudly announces $2,274,065.00 million in grant awards to 121 nonprofit groups serving San Antonio and South Texas.
