San Antonio, Texas—With thousands of Texas military personnel involved in the Iraq and Afghanistan conflicts, the impact of lengthy deployment is taking a physical, emotional, and financial toll on these dedicated service men and women as well as their families. In a collaborative response, The Dallas Foundation, Permian Basin Area Foundation, and San Antonio Area Foundation announced today $2,282,128.00 in their fourth round of nonprofit grants through the Texas Resources for Iraq-Afghanistan Deployment (TRIAD) Fund.
